Area residents who would like to help assure Santa delivers toys to children this Christmas are invited to donate to the Toys for Greene County Kids project.
Last year more than 300 Greene County children received toys through the program. Toys are needed for children age newborn to 14. “Many of these kids will not receive toys at Christmas if they don’t get them from this type of project,” a spokesperson said.
Persons who want to donate can take unwrapped toys to the Greene County engineer’s office on the first floor of the courthouse by Friday, Dec. 11.
New Opportunities will distribute toys Dec. 14 at Clover Hall. Parents can contact Teresa Lansman at New Opportunities to apply for the program.
